GPSR on Allegro: Seller Requirements Explained

What Allegro asks for

Allegro's own seller-community thread on GPSR, kept updated and treated by Allegro as its living reference, lists three data points: Producent (Manufacturer) data, name, address, email; Osoba odpowiedzialna (Responsible Person) data, described as the data of the entity introducing the product to the EU market, especially when it is not the direct producer, with fields for full name, address, a separate point-of-contact address if different, and email; and Informacja o bezpieczeństwie (Safety information).

Where fields are entered

   Single listing

   Manufacturer data sits under the sales-settings tab, in the manufacturer-data section. Responsible Person data is under Osoby odpowiedzialne within the offer conditions. Safety attachments go in the add-attachment section of the listing form.

   Bulk edit

   The Mój Asortyment (My Assortment) tab lets you select Produkt and Osoba odpowiedzialna checkboxes for a mass edit, or you can go through Allegro's file upload or API.

What happens if it's missing

Allegro's community guidance describes three escalating consequences. First, incomplete offers cannot go live or renew: "Nie zakończymy aktywnych ofert, ale nie będziesz mógł wystawić nowych, czy wznowić już istniejących ofert" (We will not end active listings, but you will not be able to post new ones or renew existing ones). Second, Allegro may send a formal warning. Third, Allegro may suspend the seller's services.

Where buyers see it

Allegro's guidance confirms the data must be made available to buyers before purchase, meaning it shows on the live offer page rather than staying in seller-only backend fields. The exact page section or tab isn't specified in what we could review.

Marketplace-specific quirks

• Non-EU manufacturers. An Allegro community moderator states: "Dane osoby odpowiedzialnej należy uzupełnić jeśli producent jest poza Unią Europejską" (Responsible person data must be completed if the manufacturer is outside the European Union). A seller can designate themselves as the Responsible Person if the manufacturer gives no EU contact, taking on the corresponding legal obligations.
• Language. For cross-market listings across Allegro.pl, Allegro.cz, Allegro.sk and Allegro.hu, safety information must be supplied in Polish, Czech, Slovak and Hungarian versions respectively, localized per storefront rather than submitted once in Polish.
• Category-mandatory identification parameters required alongside GPSR data itself: marka (brand), kod producenta (manufacturer code), kod GTIN (EAN), numer produktu (product number), seria (series), typ (type) and rodzaj (kind).
• Pre-13-December-2024 stock. As above, the exemption checkbox now applies only to used, damaged or refurbished listings, not new stock, since 4 August 2025.

How Ariadne's record maps onto Allegro's fields

Ariadne's manufacturer block covers Allegro's Producent fields directly, and the Responsible Person block covers Osoba odpowiedzialna. Ariadne's warnings array is a natural fit for Allegro's Tekst safety-information mode, though you'll need a separate localized copy per storefront since Allegro requires Polish, Czech, Slovak or Hungarian depending on which site the listing is on, not one shared language. Allegro's category-mandatory identification parameters, brand, GTIN, series, type, sit outside Article 19's disclosure and aren't part of Ariadne's product record, so you still fill those in separately.
